Jan 19 - Staff PD Day - No School for students
Our School Council is providing an information session about the Vera replacement school. Please
join us on Wednesday January 10th in the Wildrose Room at the Bold Center at 5:30 PM. There will be
a short presentation and then an opportunity to provide your thoughts. We will also be sending out
a short survey to all parents and guardians by email.
Remember to dress your kids for the cold! Students go outside for recess all the way down to –20 C so they need all of their warm gear for playing outside.
If you have not already downloaded the Bus Status App, please do so. This App is the best way to find out if your child’s bus is cancelled or delayed. You can also find this information on our website (veramwelshschool.ca). If you keep your child home when buses are canceled, we would still like you to report their absence so that we know they are safe.
If you need to report your child absent, due to a bus cancellation, or for any other reason, there are four ways you can report that absence:

- 1-833-288-7008 toll-free
- Call the school directly
Please note that we do not monitor social media or email for absence notifications.
