Our Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held on Thursday November 9th. You are welcome to join us for a 10:45 start.

Please watch for your child’s report card after school on Monday, November 20th. Parent Teacher interviews will be in your child’s classroom between 4:15 and 7:15 on Nov. 21st and 22nd. Teachers will contact you to select an interview timeslot. If you prefer to have an interview by phone please feel free to talk with your child’s teacher to arrange that.

Now that winter has arrived, please visit the Northern Lights Public Schools Website (www.nlpsab.ca) to learn all of the details about student safety when sever winter weather shows up.

Remember to dress your kids for the cold! Winter has arrived and students go outside for recess all the way down to –20 C so they need all their warm gear for playing outside. It is also extremely important that kids have proper winter clothing on the bus as well.

If you are interested in filling an Operation Christmas Child shoebox with your child, please contact Crystal Cardinal (crystal.cardinal@nlsd.ab.ca) for more information. Christmas boxes are due by Nov. 18th.
