September Calendar

Welcome to a new school year!  We are    excited to begin the 2022/23 school year  and have been working hard to prepare for our students’ arrival!  We have a few    changes in our staff this year with Mr. Waine moving to Aurora and Mrs. Moghrabi taking on a new role at a new school.  We are     excited to introduce Mrs. Colosimo as our new grade 3 teacher!  We will introduce our new assistant principal as soon as we have hired one!  We are also excited to welcome  8 new educational assistants to Vera!

Students and their parents are welcome to come and meet the teachers and see the   classroom on Friday afternoon from 1:00   until 3:00. 

When you drop off and pick up your children please remember to use the parent parking lots.  Please do not cross the bus lane as  this puts you and your children at risk.

Our Parent Council meeting is scheduled for Sept 20th at 6:30 PM.  Please contact the school for more information about our Parent Council and how you can get involved.

School lunches and fruit continue to be free.  Your children are welcome to enjoy a lunch   provided by the school or you may send a lunch with them.
